The Central Coast Cactus and Succulent Society meets on the second Sunday of every month. If you are new to the hobby, looking for advice on growing plants, and want to learn more about cacti and succulents, we’re the place! If you’re an experienced grower, looking for stimulating programs, activities, and camaraderie, we’re the place! Our meetings feature:

- A chance to socialize with other “cactophiles”

Once a year the CCCSS hosts a Show and Sale. All members are encouraged to enter plants in the judged show, and the 2008 show was simply outstanding. The entries were top shelf, both in the quality and variety of plants, and in their presentation.

Monthly meetings are held at 2:00 PM, the second Sunday of each month, at the San Luis Obispo Downtown Library, 995 Palm St. (corner of Palm and Osos), and are free to everyone. We typically have 60 to 90 members attending each meeting.
